ProDispatch SaaS
Software Engineer / SaaS Architect
A production-oriented service operations SaaS developed with milestone-driven delivery and structured backend and database architecture.

Highlights
- Established repository and application architecture.
- Implemented database migrations and milestone-based development practices.
- Reviewed application readiness between delivery milestones.
- Configured cloud storage architecture using Cloudflare R2.
- Designed development and deployment workflows for maintainability and scalability.
ProDispatch is a field service and facility operations platform built to help commercial service organizations coordinate work from the initial service request through dispatch, field execution, completion, and financial closeout.
The platform supports the operational workflow behind commercial facility services where multiple customers, service locations, technicians, vendors, trades, priorities, schedules, and work orders need to be managed from a centralized system.
My Role
As Full-Stack Developer and SaaS Architect, I designed and implemented the application architecture, database structure, operational workflows, user interfaces, authentication model, and Cloudflare deployment infrastructure.
My work covers both the technical foundation of the platform and the business processes required for day-to-day field service operations.
Work Order Management
A major focus of ProDispatch is the complete work order lifecycle.
The system supports structured workflows for:
- Service request intake and work order creation
- Customer and service location management
- Work order classification, priority, and trade assignment
- Triage and operational review
- Technician and vendor assignment
- Scheduling and dispatch
- Vendor sourcing
- Work execution and progress tracking
- Work logs and service documentation
- Completion and closeout
- Notifications and operational communication
- Receivables and payables
- Reporting and audit history
This provides operations teams with a consistent process for moving work from request to resolution while maintaining visibility throughout the lifecycle.
Dispatch and Field Operations
The dispatch workflow was designed around real-world service operations.
Dispatchers can coordinate work orders, service locations, technicians, vendors, priorities, schedules, and assignment status from a centralized operational interface.
The architecture also allows the platform to support different fulfillment scenarios, including internal technicians and externally sourced service vendors.
Platform Architecture
ProDispatch uses a modern serverless architecture designed around the Cloudflare platform.
Astro provides the application foundation and user interface, while Cloudflare Workers handle server-side application logic and APIs.
Cloudflare D1 provides the relational database layer with Drizzle ORM managing schema definitions, migrations, and application data access.
Cloudflare R2 provides object storage for files and operational documents, while Cloudflare Queues supports asynchronous processing where workflows should not block user-facing operations.
Better Auth provides authentication and session management with application-level authorization controlling access to operational features.
Engineering and Quality
The project follows milestone-driven development with database migrations, automated checks, and repeatable deployment processes.
The engineering workflow includes:
- TypeScript-based application development
- Database schema migrations
- Unit and integration testing with Vitest
- End-to-end browser testing with Playwright
- Automated linting and type checking
- Cloudflare deployment workflows
- GitHub-based source control and issue tracking
The result is a maintainable platform foundation that can continue expanding as ProDispatch’s operational requirements grow.
